Aqua natal classes are friendly, relaxing and social swimming pool-based classes designed for pregnant women and their unborn babies. Aqua natal classes are for antenatal and postnatal ladies (after their 6 week check). Aqua natal exercise in water during pregnancy is a safe and an enjoyable way to prepare for labour, delivery and the postnatal period. The buoyancy of the water supports the body and your baby so it is a safe place to exericse. Aqua aerobics can help to reduce high blood pressure, swelling of feet, ankles and hands, promote better sleep, reduce stress levels, promote a sense of wellbeing and regulate weight gain.
